The Canadian Home Builders' Association of British Columbia
proudly welcomes you to our Continuing Education Portal. In 2006 we expanded on
our commitment to deliver education and training to the housing industry by
updating our current suite of six management courses and by developing five new
courses. In order to reach all British Columbians, we established a process to
deliver the courses via the Internet, along with special remote learning access
where high speed Internet is not yet available. To support our delivery of
these courses, we have also created a custom Learning Management System (LMS)
that manages the registration process, tracks student progress, keeps a history
of all students for certification purposes, and provides other administrative
support. We are very proud of the fact that we are the only provincial building
association to offer such a wide variety of courses designed for and by the
building industry. With funding assistance from our partners in education, we
have a program that provides essential education designed not only for
experienced builders, but also for those who are new to the industry. Please
take some time to familiarize yourself with our education portal - we trust you
will find the information valuable and informative.
